As one of our sailing instructors said, “Catamarans are the future for Columbia River sailing.” Now the idea's been turned loose, and maybe you've caught a hint of it and it has brought you to this web site. Welcome!
We do believe that catamarans are the ideal craft for recreational sailing on the Columbia River. And we expect it won't be too long before enough sailors have caught the cat bug, enough to make up a decent-sized racing class. Until then, David and his buddies content themselves with “We're not racing. We're just passing ...”
This web-site is dedicated to answering any questions you pose to us, and sharing with you what it has been like for us sailing “Water Strider” (our Gemini 105 Mc catamaran) on the Columbia.
